It should be noted that all but one of the crew in 2000 asked to rejoin the crew in 2001. Eighty-percent of them chose to receive part of their compensation (usually half) in shares rather than cash. Thus, the vast majority of the people who have the closest and most compelling view of the project--the employees--have chosen to become investors.
